Description
Antique French rococo flower trim is hand sewn with ribbon rosettes in ombre shades of coral, blue and lavender. These silky rosettes are sewn to a spring green ombre rococo ribbon trim. There are between 7 and 8 rosettes every 6 inches. Trim is 1/2 inch in width, and is in excellent unused condition Sold in 12 inch lengths while quantities last. ROCOCO: A style of decorative art, that originated in France in the early 18th century and is marked by elaborate ornamentation, as with a profusion of scrolls, foliage, and animal forms.
