This is a new, unused and sealed counted cross-stitch pattern entitled “The Scent of Old Roses.” Pattern #54 in Nora Corbett’s Mirabilia Collection, this pattern was released in 2000.
The pattern is described as: “There is a princess, we are told, of indescribable wealth, who is fascinated by the mixing of garden scents. “A touch of lavender for sleep,” she muses here, in an ornate gown and stole trimmed with “Wisper”. “And rosemary, that’s for remembrance.” Rumor has it that she has captured her favorite scent, that of old English roses, in a rose-amethyst vial to carry with her wherever she goes. While you stitch, consider the effect of fragrances in your life, and resolve to surround yourself with those that bring you happiness, too.”
This product includes the pattern only. The materials needed to complete the project as shown are NOT included.
The Design area of this pattern is approximately 7 1/2″ x 13 1/4″ (19.1 x 33.7 cm) when stitched 2 over 2 on 32 count Laurel by Wichelt Imports. Altermate fabric is 32 count Zweigart Belfast Olive Green Linen. The stitch count is 119w x 212h.
