We recommend you stitch on a fabric count you are comfortable with. The larger thecount, the more squares there are per inch, and the smaller the finished piece will be.With larger finished pieces, the detail will be more visible, the further you stand awayfrom the image. This ideally should be stitched on 18 count or higher fabric, and thefloss usage chart has been calculated using 2 strands of floss over 1 stitch on 25 countevenweave. You will find that your floss usage will change if you use fewer or morestrands, and different sized material.

You’ll need about 14 skeins of DMC 310 to stitch the pattern as shown on 25 count fabric using 2strands of thread. Other floss usage/fabric count will change the amount of thread needed.
