Antique French silk passementerie rope tiebacks date to the 1870/1890’s.
These were found in a Chateau sale and had been in storage since the 1950’s.
Made for massive Silk and silver metal chateau curtains.
Colors are coral, gold, silver and green/chartreuse silk. Cord is about 3/4th of an inch in thickness and about 10 feet of silk cord bound together at one end with hand made silk knot net creating a loop.
